Your foyer is the first impression of your home. Not just when guests come in, but when you walk in, you want to feel like you are in a place that you love!
Like every other room in your home, your foyer should reflect your personality; it also should be bright, welcoming, and have good storage. I’ve put together a couple of options that I found on Amazon to make a really simple, beautiful foyer on a budget!
Welcome to the first of my series: Design on a Budget. (You'll notice almost every item I've linked here is under $200, and many are under $100!)

Paint: SW Majolica Green
Not sponsored (yet?!) but I really love this color, and it’s currently their feature when you navigate to the landing page of their website! It's not olive or mint but somewhere in between, and it pairs well with trendy brass and matte black hardware! It lends itself to traditional or modern spaces, and it's practically a super versatile neutral.

Something about gold makes every space feel a little bit cooler. This one has a glass top, so it doesn't feel too heavy, while still providing a great landing space.

Mirrors not only function as a last look before you go out the door, but they bounce daylight around helping to make your space brighter!

I am obsessed with these faux roses that double as a fragrance diffuser! So smart!

A beautiful light fixture will be the first thing your guests see, so make it special. Don’t be afraid to mix metals and make a big statement! And whether you prefer LED or Incandescant, pop some daylight bulbs in that bad boy.

This pink velvet bench isn’t just pretty, but it can store all your extra bags and shoes to help you keep your foyer tidy. It comes in a bunch of colors but the pink made me feel inspired!

Every room has to have some art, and these vintage prints are perfect for this foyer! Paint the frames to match your interior trim and they become an architectural detail.

Every room needs a plant, as far as I’m concerned. And this one requires no maintenance (you can’t kill it). If you have more of a green thumb, I would recommend anything that naturally filters the air like a real snake plant!

The size and shape of your rug is totally going to depend on your space, but this round one amplifies the golden sunshiney vibe, and adds nice texture to the room.
If you need help sizing a rug, or putting together a palette or style for your space, call Your Design BFF! You can leave me a message on the bottom of the homepage, or book a free consultation online. I would love to help you make your home feel more like
You.
Love,
Your Design BFF
